Stellest™
The Stellest™ lenses are an advanced generation of spectacle lenses, specifically developed to control the progression of myopia and reduce abnormal eyeball elongation. They simultaneously correct the child's refractive error and provide stable correction in all directions of vision, while generating an optical signal volume designed to slow the axial growth of the eye.
Ideal for
Ideal for children with progressive myopia who need an effective, comfortable and discreet solution to slow down the progression of diopters.
INTEGRATED TECHNOLOGIES
HALT technology creates a three-dimensional optical signal volume that helps slow the axial growth of the eye, while providing clear and stable myopia correction.
Essilor® Stellest™ lenses slow down the progression of myopia
on average by 67% compared to single vision lenses when worn 12 hours a day**.
*Results of a prospective, controlled, randomized, double-masked, two-year clinical trial in 54 myopic children who wore Essilor® Stellest® lenses compared to 50 myopic children who wore monofocal lenses. Results are based on 32 children who reported wearing Essilor® Stellest® lenses at least 12 hours per day, every day, for 2 consecutive years. 1. Bao J, et al. Tips for parents
to achieve the best possible results
Have your child wear the glasses with Stellest® lenses as often as possible
The more often your child wears glasses with Stellest® lenses, the more effective they will be in slowing the progression of myopia. It is recommended that they wear them 12 hours a day, every day.
Daily vision care for your child
Whenever possible, it is recommended that the child spend 2 hours a day outside every day and take regular breaks when using near vision for long periods of time.
Monitoring the child during the adaptation phase
There are no special restrictions and all children adapt to Stellest® lenses within a week. A check-up with an ophthalmologist or optician will be scheduled within 15 days to verify and confirm your child's perfect adaptation to the Stellest® glasses.
